PROJECT LEAD
Working in collaboration with ARTSNEXT, I led a team of four in the conceptualization and development of a series of puzzles for a one-hour escape room. My work was both administrative and creative involving budget management, liaising with stakeholders, pitching concepts for themes and puzzles, designing and prototyping games with asymmetric play, Q&A testing, analyzing play and playtest feedback, running problem-solving sessions to iterate on designs, maintaining design documentation, and writing cue scripts and environmentally embedded clues.
ABOUT
Set within a museum, all puzzles were designed around artwork within the Löwenbräu. Framing the narrative within the larger theme of The Muses and set in a defaced art gallery, all puzzles require deep collaboration and asymmetric play styles to solve and escape the wrath of the mythological figures who inspired the degraded artwork.
The game was discontinued in 2020.
